Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna is the industrial center of excellence of Philip Morris International in Italy.
Since 1963, Philip Morris has operated in Bologna at the manufacturing plant of Zola Predosa. Thanks to the experience and competence developed over the years, the company opened a new manufacturing plant in the industrial area of Crespellano in 2016.
As the first factory of its kind in the world, Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna is the center where production processes for the manufacture of smoke free products are defined. The know-how developed inside the plant is exported worldwide, extending the Italian manufacturing activity beyond national borders.
