YOUR ROLE

The Global Employer Services (GES) Service Line of Deloitte's Tax and Corporate Firm is looking for professionals to join the team as Senior Tax Consultant - Employment Tax, to provide assistance to national and international clients regarding tax and social security planning for employees.

Within the GES team, you will find a young, dynamic, and very stimulating environment, where the contribution and commitment of each individual professional is valued and where, with the support and coordination of junior colleagues, you will work flexibly and smartly and will be involved in:

• Collaborating on projects aimed at defining employee compensation packages, with a particular focus on related tax and social security issues;

• Analyzing and preparing Welfare and flexible benefit plans;

• Participating in the analysis and drafting phases of employee stock ownership plans;

• Analyzing and structuring MBO and LTI incentive plans;

• Analyzing and implementing carried interest plans;

• Analyzing the pension situation of employees and making related estimates;

• Tax planning;

• Conducting research in tax and social security matters to provide advice, prepare rulings, draft memorandums and opinions regarding employee management;

• Frequently interacting and collaborating with colleagues from other countries in the Deloitte network;

• Maintaining a fruitful relationship with clients to understand their needs and develop assistance;

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of junior team colleagues;

• Collaborating on Eminence projects (e.g., publications, external and internal conferences).

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in structured training on specific and general tax topics, to acquire 360-degree knowledge of taxation.

WINNING REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Lawyer or Labor Consultant;

• Excellent knowledge of the English language;

• Minimum 2/4 years of experience and previous skills acquired in a similar role;

• Curiosity and attention to detail;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Teamwork attitude;

The GES Service Line is present in over 150 countries with over 7,000 professionals globally and assists national and international clients in tax and social security planning for employees of multinational companies and groups. By joining GES, you will have the opportunity to work in synergy with multidisciplinary teams within the Deloitte Network on projects focusing on: international tax and social security issues, with particular regard to the management of expatriates and remote workers; strategic consulting on decision-making processes related to human resource management; compensation and benefits; management of compliance activities.
