Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.
As Global Marketing Manager for BCG's Health Care Practice Area (HCPA), you will strengthen BCG's position as a leading adviser to health care organisations globally by:
Managing high-quality content and thought leadership, and its amplification through integrated marketing campaigns
Developing strategic events that create client engagement opportunities and showcase our points of view
Evolving client relationship programmes for more targeted, personal engagement
Working with experts to build their external visibility and strengthen the HCPA's market position
Planning and managing HCPA marketing activity — measurement, budgets, resourcing — and finding ways AI can improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness
This is a hands-on role combining strategy with delivery. You will partner with HCPA leadership, sector and topic leaders, subject matter experts, and global/local Marketing & Communications (M&C) teams to identify what matters most to clients and bring BCG's perspectives to market. You will have real ownership — from shaping priorities to delivering campaigns and measuring impact — while operating independently within a collaborative global team.
Content and Thought Leadership
Partner with HCPA leaders and authors to develop compelling, differentiated publications on complex health care and business topics that build BCG's reputation with senior audiences
Help drive the content agenda, balancing breadth with focused investment in priority themes
Own communications plans for priority publications, shaping activation across bcg.com, digital, media, social, leadership communications, strategic events, and partnerships to maximise reach and business impact
Uphold and evolve publishing governance in line with BCG standards protecting the firm's brand and reputation
Strategy and Campaigns
Help shape and deliver the HCPA marketing plan, translating priorities into integrated activity across channels
Lead end-to-end campaign delivery: brief, audience definition, channel planning, execution, amplification, measurement
Bring market intelligence to identify white space and inform positioning
Connect HCPA priorities with BCG's broader marketing organisation and campaigns
Challenge established ways of working to increase impact, efficiency or distinctiveness
Client Engagement and Relationship Marketing
Evolve the HCPA's client relationship programme for more targeted, personalised engagement with priority clients and audiences
Bring content, thought leadership, campaigns, events, and other marketing activity to named clients, ensuring engagement builds over time
Help teams get more value from existing marketing investments
Work with other BCG practices to bring relevant expertise into HCPA client engagement
Expertise Positioning and Brand Building
Strengthen experts' external profiles and identify opportunities to share their and our perspectives
Coordinate media engagement, positioning partners around relevant topics working with M&C colleagues
Evaluate speaking opportunities — panels, roundtables, podcasts — for visibility with priority audiences
Connect profiling activity with wider campaigns and market priorities
Support partners with briefing materials for external engagements
Marketing Planning, Management and AI Enablement
Support planning of marketing activity — measurement, budgets, resources, timelines
Identify and implement AI opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency
Undertake other marketing tasks as required
Connecting business priorities with practical, creative marketing
Translating complex challenges into clear priorities and compelling narratives
Moving comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery

Working proactively and independently, knowing when to seek input or flag issues
Building trusted relationships with senior colleagues and influencing through quality of thinking
Using data and insights to assess effectiveness and improve future activity
Staying organised and adaptable in a fast-moving global matrix, with curiosity about new tools and AI
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5–8 years' experience in marketing, communications, campaigns, strategic marketing, or publishing
Experience delivering integrated marketing/go-to-market programmes supporting business priorities, thought leadership and audience engagement
Working knowledge across earned, owned, and paid marketing (specialism not required, but an integrated perspective is)
Strong skills turning complex subject matter into clear narratives
B2B, consulting, professional services or Health Care experience highly desirable
Experience working with senior stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organisation
Experience managing cross-functional projects, moving between planning and hands-on execution
Confidence operating where the path forward is not always fully defined
Strong written communication, storytelling and presentation skills for specialist and non-specialist audiences
Genuine interest in AI and its impact on marketing — hands-on experience helpful but curiosity matters more
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with martech/analytics platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Wrike, Power BI, Tableau, Sprinklr, Signal AI) helpful but not essential
Interest in Health Care, and the curiosity to build knowledge of HCPA's sectors, topics, clients and competitive landscape
Professional, adaptable, and collaborative approach, suited to a fast-moving global environment
You will sit within the Global Health Care Practice Area marketing team, working closely with HCPA leadership and colleagues across BCG's global M&C organisation — including campaigns, digital, media relations, social, web, editorial and leadership communications, plus regional and local marketing teams. You will also collaborate regularly with partners, sector/topic leaders, subject matter experts, and the HCPA Management & Operations team. Externally, you may work with conference organisers, media organisations, and strategic partners.
