About the Role

As a Project Engineer - VRF Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of HVAC projects from installation through commissioning and handover. You will be responsible for coordinating with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with Carrier and industry requirements. Your expertise in VRF systems, troubleshooting, and customer engagement will help create seamless project experiences and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer - VRF Systems, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities for VRF systems.

• Coordinating with customers, consultants, contractors, channel partners, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supervising site execution, subcontractor performance, and material management activities.

• Ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, OEM guidelines, and safety requirements.

• Monitoring project progress, quality, documentation, and reporting project status to stakeholders.

• Identifying and resolving technical issues and providing timely corrective actions.

• Conducting system testing, performance verification, customer training, and knowledge-sharing sessions for installers and channel partners.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are technically strong, customer-focused, proactive, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic project environment. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC/VRF project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, psychrometry, refrigeration cycle, and refrigerant piping best practices.

• Knowledge of controls, BMS integration, and HVAC system troubleshooting.

• Excellent customer communication, stakeholder management, and technical report writing skills.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Prior experience working with Carrier products, systems, or processes.

• Experience in conducting technical training for channel partners, installers, or customers.

• Project management experience involving multiple sites or large-scale HVAC projects.
