Role Purpose
The Marketing Procurement Specialist will support sourcing, supplier management, stakeholder engagement, and procurement operations across the Marketing category, ensuring business continuity and the achievement of procurement objectives. The role partners closely with Marketing, Finance, Legal, and external suppliers to execute sourcing initiatives, optimize procurement processes, and ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and governance requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Support
Support procurement activities across Marketing spend categories across ASEAN-ANZ region, including BTL and PR Activities.
Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and supplier bid evaluations.
Analyze supplier proposals and provide commercial recommendations.
Support contract negotiations and supplier onboarding activities.
Deliver cost-saving and value-creation opportunities where applicable.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with Marketing stakeholders across ASEAN and ANZ to understand business requirements.
Provide guidance on procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to internal customers on supplier selection and sourcing approaches.
Ensure timely resolution of procurement-related issues and inquiries.
Contract & Supplier Management
Maintain productive relationships with approved suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance, service levels, and contract compliance.
Support supplier reviews and business performance discussions.
Manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle, including contract monitoring, renewal tracking, compliance management, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Escalate supplier risks and performance concerns when necessary.
Procurement Operations & Compliance
Manage purchase requisitions and purchase order processes as required.
Ensure sourcing activities comply with company procurement policies and governance standards.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and contract records.
Support audit and compliance requirements.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare spend analysis and procurement performance reports.
Track savings, sourcing pipeline, contract status, and supplier metrics.
Support procurement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline.
3-5 years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
Experience supporting Marketing procurement categories is highly preferred.
Familiarity with sourcing processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
Experience working in a multinational environment is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/Procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba).
