Job description:
We are looking for a Foreman/Forewoman Paint Shop to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the Head of Paint Shop Production.
You will be responsible for managing employees and steering production processes assigned to your department aiming at achieving assigned objectives: productivity (volumes and costs), quality KPIs, materials return, injuries prevention, health status.
You will be accountable for the following activities, through the coordination of TLs (Team Leaders: referent people for a blue collar team in the same production department):
Production teams management and coordination (blue collars), within your own department supported by referents of each team (Team Leaders), aiming at achieving department objectives: Productivity, Quality, Materials return, Injuries prevention, Health status;
Daily support to TLs activities due to your hierarchical responsibility over blue collars;
Disciplinary leadership over production employees in your department;
Workforce organization in teams and re-organization in case of TLs absence;
Daily meetings with team leaders for alignment on production issues:

About you
University degree
At least 3-5 years of experience in Automotive industry
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Understanding of line industrialization concepts and line balancing
Knowledge of main functional vehicle part groups (Mechanical, Electronics, Body & Surfaces)
Strong safety mindset: procedures, KPI monitoring, analysis and problem solving
Full proficiency in Italian and English
Good standing and professional presence
Teamwork and relational skills
Strong problem-solving attitude
Ability to manage and develop people in an operational environment
